When kids go missing,
time is of the essence

In 2000, LexisNexis® Risk Solutions partnered with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® (NCMEC) to create the ADAM™ Program to help locate missing children as quickly as possible. Our innovative technology is used to quickly distribute posters containing a photo of the missing child and case details to police, news media, schools, businesses, medical centers and individuals within a specific, targeted geographic area.

Businesses and individuals can receive these targeted alerts, so get involved and sign up today. You will only receive alerts for missing children in your area. When more people are receiving alerts in a targeted area, the greater the likelihood that someone will recognize the missing child and help NCMEC and authorities track and recover a missing child. Our goal is to increase the number of people receiving alerts, so please join us in the effort to bring missing kids home quickly and safely.

Help find missing kids in your area -
Anyone. Anywhere. Anytime.

The ADAM Program Interactive Missing Children Dashboard enhances the coordination between NCMEC, the public and authorities, helping to increase the chances of locating missing children faster. To use the dashboard, simply select an area to view real-time data and critical missing child posters with detailed information about the child. Drill down for more specific details and easily share missing child posters on social media, which helps amplify their reach. Together, both the ADAM Program alert system and the interactive dashboard work in tandem helping to magnify efforts to help bring missing children home.

*All data represented in the dashboard is derived from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), including active missing children cases reported that have been specifically distributed through the ADAM Program.

How the ADAM Program Works

NCMEC transmits to ADAM

STEP 1: NCMEC sends a photo of a missing child and important case details - including geographic areas to target for poster distribution - to ADAM.
examines a database

STEP 2: The ADAM technology matches the geo-targeted area selected by NCMEC with its recipient database, resulting in a list of businesses and individuals who will receive
the missing child poster.
ADAM transmits the data and photo of the missing child to targeted recipients.

STEP 3: ADAM transmits the missing child poster to
targeted recipients.
